And I wasn't disappointed, even though it's now slightly past its best.
It's a National Trust property in the Conwy Valley.

That looks a very nice place with lots to see, Seabird.  
It' reminiscent of our local gardens at Bicton, which has Britain's oldest wisteria over a portico and looking similar to your laburnum shot.

I'd never been before either Kaz, in fact I only went to make up the numbers, as I was at a bit of a loose end.

Quite a big place to walk round and very interesting - the only disappointment was the tearoom. Poor for a National Trust place, but the Welsh Food centre is only up the road.
