We are now 5 weeks into the coarse fishing season. Has anyone been out and enjoyed a session yet?

I haven't; a combination of work, other commitments and especially the weather have curtailed my fishing activities so far. Although I have been out on a couple of riverside recces when walking OZ.

I would very much like to read reports, and see photos of your fishing trips.

I'm hoping to get out later this week and have a roving light duty spinning for Perch, Chub and Jack Pike session when the time allows.

Gareth, I too am in the same situation as you, however I have been feeding a special place for the past 4 days to and from work.

I'm hoping to get out to it soon and throw a line and weight... fingers crossed.

A couple of hours on the canal yielded a 4oz roach and a similarly sized perch. The perch was a lovely little fish, beautifully marked.
