I have been experimenting this year. I planted a row of early potatoes in the runner bean row and tried the sweetcorn+ runner beans +courgettes 3 sisters. I found I had to prune the tops of the potatoes a bit to stop them denying light to everything else but it seems to have worked so far. I only have 3 spud plants to lift now. The string in the pic is to stop the spud foliage spreading. I was not confident the beans would find the sweetcorn good enough for support so that is why you see bamboo. You may notice a row of peas the far side.

Curiosity - Are they in a row or square ? wondering about sweetcorn pollination.

Sweet corn in block with peas at each one and pumpkins between, only  7 pumpkin to 40 corn but 2 peas to each. Use the pumpkins as ground cover and only get small fruit from them but the peas do really well and don't seem to overwhelm the corn like the beans used to.
